Bowman Captivates CPCA Attendees
with Virtual Reality Demo

July, 2021 – Bowman China Applied Scientific Instruments is one of the main highlights of this year’s 30th International Electronics Circuit Exhibition July 7-9 at Shanghai’s National Exhibition and Convention Center. The show is managed by China Printed Circuit Association (CPCA) and features more than 500 exhibitors.

Bowman China will showcase P, B, L, and G Series XRF systems in a unique virtual presentation on the show floor. Visit Arthur He and his expert team in booth 8Y28.

May, 2021 – Felicidades to Joan in Barcelona, and Robert and Hugo at headquarters for their determination and hard work in achieving this critical milestone. Bowman Iberica has been in talks with new and existing XRF users throughout Spain and Portugal since on-boarding with Bowman last summer.

According to owner Domenec Mayoral, the region holds great potential, particularly for Bowman’s G Series XRF, with its precision video imaging, and ‘bottom-up’ measurement. Mayoral has more than a quarter century of experience with XRFs technology and knows great measurement instrumentation when he sees it!

Global Product Manager Announced

May, 2021 – Zach Dismukes, one of the most knowledgeable names in the XRF industry, moved from US headquarters in Schaumburg to southern California with a mission to make Bowman a highly recognized technology brand in the continent’s technology hub.

On May 1, Bowman Chief Technology Officer Jun Choi announced his return, as Global Product Manager, with a team of 5 and wide-ranging responsibilities. These include analysis of global market priorities, participation in the development of new systems and software, strategic planning, and business process enhancement.

Bowman Grows Production Capacity with Key New Hires

April, 2021 – Production Manager Xavier Rodriguez announces the expansion of Bowman production capacity with the addition of Manufacturing Technicians Brie Goodman and Sean Mann.

Brie Goodman holds an Associate’s Degree, and an Integrated Engineering Technology (InET) degree. She formerly worked for Wi-tronix and Allen Avionics, the latter as an electronics technician, where she specialized in assembly and testing. In her post at Bowman, her primary focus will be collimators, filters, motors, and complex soldering projects.

Sean Mann has a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and formerly worked as a mechanical technician for Rockwell Automation’s Research and Development for Motion department, where his most notable project was the I-Trak Intelligent Track, a linear motor system that allows for independent control of multiple movers, replacing rotary-driven chains, belts, and gears. In his new position, he will focus on production parts and the optimization of work instructions.

Bowman Expands Sales Team

March, 2021 – Bowman has appointed Ryan Ahrens as sales and support engineer for the high-activity region that includes southern California, also Arizona, Oregon and Washington.

Mr. Ahrens was previously a technical sales engineer, based in Dallas, with Keyence, a global supplier of sensors, measuring instruments, and machine vision systems. As a sales and support engineer, he will work with Bowman customers in the PCB manufacturing and metal finishing industries, providing consultation, installation and support for all seven models of Bowman XRF plating thickness measurement systems.

Mr. Ahrens holds a B.S. in chemical engineering and an MBA from the University of Alabama; he is a member of AIChE*. His base is Santa Ana, California.
